We are a family of four. Two parents, two children, and an embarrassingly long list of hotel stays that did not go as planned.
We have shown up to a resort where the kids club was closed for the season — information that was nowhere on the booking page. We have spent entire evenings cross-referencing TripAdvisor, hotel websites, and parent forums trying to answer one simple question: does this hotel actually work for a family? We have paid a fortune for places marketed as family resorts that turned out to be adult pools with a single waterslide tucked behind the car park.
Every single time, we thought the same thing: there has to be a better way.
Every hotel here earned its place by actually being good for families — real kids clubs, real babysitting, real waterparks, not a checkbox on a filter. If it wouldn't work for our own kids, it's not on the list.
One honesty note: FamilyStay Collection is built as an affiliate business. Once our partnerships with platforms like Expedia, Vrbo and Hotels.com go live, booking through our links may earn us a small commission — at the exact same price you'd pay booking direct. It will never decide what makes the cut. The commission follows the hotel; it doesn't choose it.
This is the site we wished existed the first time we tried to plan a family trip and gave up halfway through a spreadsheet. We hope it gets your family to the good part faster.

FamilyStay Collection™ is a curated hotel discovery platform for families. We operate the website at familystaycollection.com. We are not a travel agent or booking platform — we link to third-party booking services including Expedia, Vrbo and Hotels.com.
